National Unicorn Day is the Mane Event Thanks to Lees

Lees celebrated National Unicorn Day (9 April 2018) with a ‘sweet’ tribute to Scotland’s national animal.

The ‘mane’ event took place at Kelvingrove Park, where the creator of Scotland’s favourite treats and sweets surprised locals by bringing along one of the mythical creatures to mark the day and introduce the brand’s new look pastel coloured Macaringues.

Getting into the spirit of things, Lees have created their very own rainbow coloured headpiece, fully embracing the unicorn-inspired beauty trend that has swept the nation. Commissioned from Silver Linings Millinery, the Macaringues took centre stage alongside Shimmer, the unicorn.
